Clindamycin HCl Oral: Uses, Side Effects, Interactions, Pictures, Warnings & Dosing

The amount of medicine that you take depends on the strength of the medicine. Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may result in a return of the infection.

Clindamycin Capsules

The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. If the area of inhibition around the clindamycin disk is D-shaped, the test result is positive. Despite the apparent susceptibility to clindamycin in the absence of erythromycin, a positive D-test precludes therapeutic use of clindamycin. Drug interactions may occur when using any form of clindamycin.

Measure the oral liquid correctly using the marked measuring spoon that comes with the package. The average household teaspoon may not hold the right amount of liquid.
